A yacht charter in the Sporades is a short-hop Greek week: Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos and a national marine park you plan around, not through. Skiathos and Volos hold the fleets. The pine coasts and the park are the week, not a brochure list you tick off.

Bareboat is the default if you hold an ICC or RYA Day Skipper Practical. The Sporades are kinder than the Cyclades. They are not a toy: the Skiathos channel has traffic, and the park has rules. We will not put a first-time skipper out of Skiathos into a forecast that belongs further south.

Weekly rates in EUR, yacht only. A 38 to 42 ft monohull sits near the bottom of each band; 46 to 50 ft cats sit at the top. Fuel, Greek transit log, end cleaning where not included and berthing are extra. Skippered weeks add a daily skipper fee and a cabin.

Yacht Charter Sporades FAQs
Bareboat bases want an ICC, RYA Day Skipper Practical or an equivalent, plus a CV. Sporades bases are among the more flexible in June and September. August 50-footers are not. We confirm the pair for your base before you pay a deposit.
Skiathos if you want the shortest hops and the airport on the doorstep. Volos if you want a mainland start and a slightly longer first crossing. First-timers should not start with a one-way they have not paid for.
Plan on about EUR 2,000 in spring and autumn, EUR 3,000 in June and September, and EUR 4,200 in July and August for a mid-size monohull, before extras. We quote more than one fleet on the same Saturday.
Yes, on the terms the park publishes that year. Some bays are closed or speed-limited. We would rather keep you on the allowed coast than sell a photograph you cannot legally take the boat into.
Yes, relative to the Cyclades or a windy Dodecanese week. You still need a recognised licence, a crew who can handle lines, and a plan for Saturday channel traffic. A skipper for day one is cheap insurance.
