Mediterranean Yacht Charter

Short hops
Most days are 15 to 30 nautical miles, with a town or a cove at the end of them.
Dense fleets
Lefkas, Athens, Split, Trogir, Palma and the Côte d’Azur hold the boats that actually book.
A season that works
May to October is reliable. July and August are busier, not better, unless you like a full quay.
A Mediterranean yacht charter is the shortest hop between harbour towns in the charter world: Greece and the Ionian, Croatia’s islands, Italy, the Balearics and the French coast. Distances are a week, not a campaign, and the season runs Easter to October.
This page lists every coast we cover in that sea. Open a country page for boats, bases and prices. Use a sailing guide when you want wind and harbours first, or an itinerary when you already know the week you want to sail.

Yacht Charter Mediterranean FAQs
First-timers usually start in the Ionian or Dalmatia: line-of-sight sailing, plenty of bases and a harbour every evening. The Cyclades, Sicily and the Balearics ask more of the forecast and the skipper.
Bareboat if you hold an ICC or equivalent and are happy Mediterranean-mooring. Skippered if the group is here to swim and eat, or if this is the first week in a new sea.
June and September. The water is warm, the meltemi and the maestral are usable, and the quay still has space. July and August cost more for the same miles.
Yes, with papers in order. Croatia to Montenegro, Sardinia to Corsica, and the Balearics between islands are the usual crossings. Tell us the week and we will say whether a one-way is worth the drop-off fee.
