Yacht Charter Ibiza Highlights
Ibiza Town and Talamanca
The Dalt Vila above you, fuel and provisioning on the doorstep, and a first-night cala ten minutes away if you want to leave the quay.
San Antonio and the west
Sunset calas, a short run to Cala Comte and a harbour that is busy in season. Good if you want west-coast swimming more than town walls.
Es Porroig and the south-west
Quieter water, pine and a lunch stop that still feels like Ibiza when Town is full. Settled weather only when the south-west swell is up.
Formentera and the Freus
Illetes and Cala Saona are the reason people cross. Time the Freus, book La Savina if you want a marina night, and stay off the grass.
Santa Eularia
The quieter east-coast start. Shorter hops to Tagomago and Cala Llonga, and a harbour that is not San Antonio on a Saturday.
Formentera, Illetes
The swimming day. White sand, a booked buoy if you can get one, and posidonia you must stay off.
A yacht charter in Ibiza is a short-hop week: pine-backed calas, a crossing of the Freus to Formentera, and nights that can be as quiet or as loud as you book them. Ibiza Town, San Antonio and Santa Eularia hold the fleets. Formentera is the swimming day, not a second island you squeeze in if the forecast is wrong.
This page is the booking layer. For routes, winds and the Freus in more detail, use our Ibiza and Formentera sailing guide. For Mallorca, see Yacht Charter Mallorca.
Bareboat works if you already Mediterranean-moor and can keep off the posidonia. If the group is here for dinners and swimming, a skipper for the week is the honest product. We will not sell you a 50 ft cat into San Antonio in August without saying what the harbour is like on a Saturday night.

Yacht Charter Ibiza FAQs
Bareboat bases want an ICC, RYA Day Skipper Practical or an equivalent they recognise, plus a CV. High-season 50-footers are stricter. If your ticket is light, take a skipper. We check this before you pay a deposit.
Ibiza Town for Dalt Vila, easier provisioning and a first hop to the east or south. San Antonio if the west-coast calas and sunsets are the week. Santa Eularia is the quieter third option. Formentera is a day sail, not a start base for most bareboats.
Plan on about EUR 2,600 in spring and autumn, EUR 3,800 in June and September, and EUR 5,500 in July and August for a mid-size monohull, before extras. Cats cost more and disappear first. We quote more than one fleet on the same Saturday.
Yes. The Freus is short and well marked, but it is still a channel with traffic and current. Cross in settled weather, keep off the posidonia, and treat Illetes as a lunch stop unless you have a booked buoy.
Only if you already stern-to and can ignore the nightlife you did not book. First-time skippers are usually happier in the Ionian or on a skippered Ibiza week. We will say so rather than force a bareboat.
