Seychelles charter base directory
Mahé (Eden Island)
Primary charter logistics hub with airport access and the largest catamaran fleets. Classic start for Inner Islands weeks.
Praslin
Classic Inner Islands hop with strong anchorage options and a natural mid-week base for many circuits.
La Digue hops
Short scenic stop for granite beaches and quieter nights. Usually a route highlight rather than the Saturday check-in base.
Which base for which week
Choose Mahé (Eden Island) for transfers and fleet volume. Build Praslin and La Digue into the week as hops, not as separate Saturday products unless your operator bases there.
Provisioning, fuel and check-in
Fuel and provisioning are easiest on Mahé before you leave for Praslin and La Digue. Plan reef channels in daylight. Nearest airport: Mahé (SEZ).

FAQs
Which Seychelles marina should I depart from?
Most weeks start at Eden Island on Mahé. Praslin and La Digue are stronger as circuit stops than Saturday bases.
Do I need to book moorings in advance?
Peak weeks benefit from early planning at popular Inner Islands stops.
Are Outer Islands realistic in one week?
Usually no for a first holiday charter. Keep the week on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.
Is a catamaran the usual choice?
Yes for many Seychelles weeks because of space, shallow access and trade-wind comfort.
How important is reef briefing?
Essential. Follow operator notes and daylight approaches into lagoons and cuts.
