Primary charter bases and useful overnight harbours, labelled on the map.

Poland charter base directory

Gdańsk

Historic city-side Baltic logistics. Thin charter volume compared with Mediterranean hubs.

Gdynia

Neighbour harbour with marina services and some charter options. Treat Gdańsk and Gdynia as one gulf, not two holidays.

Masurian lakes note

A separate inland sailing product. Different boats, licences and scenery. Not a substitute for a Baltic sea week.

Which base for which week

Choose Gdańsk or Gdynia for a Baltic-coast week. Choose the Masurian lakes only if you want inland sailing. Do not book one thinking you will get the other.

Provisioning, fuel and check-in

Short summer, provision in the Tricity for sea weeks. Lakes have their own bases inland. Airport: Gdańsk (GDN) for the coast.

This page is research intent: where fleets start and which harbour fits your week. When you are ready to compare boats and weekly rates, use the Poland yacht charter page or browse yachts.

FAQs

Which Poland marina should I depart from?

Gdańsk or Gdynia for Baltic weeks. Masuria is inland and separate.

Do I need to book marina berths in advance?

Yes in high summer on the coast. Lakes bases also fill in peak Polish holidays.

Is this a thin sea-charter market?

Yes. Skippered is more common for visiting crews. We keep that honesty on the charter page.

Are the Masurian lakes yacht charter?

They are inland sailing, often smaller boats. We mention them so you do not confuse them with a Gulf of Gdańsk sea week.

Can I sail to Scandinavia in one week?

Only for experienced Baltic crews with a serious passage plan. It is not a first-charter default.
