Ibiza Town (Marina Ibiza / Botafoc area)
Primary charter logistics hub with the largest fleets and easiest airport transfers. Busy on Saturdays in July and August.
San Antonio (Sant Antoni)
West-coast option for crews who want sunset calas and a shorter hop toward the west shore. Fleet volume is smaller than Ibiza Town.
Formentera hops (La Savina approaches)
Not a typical Saturday base for bareboat fleets, but the classic short hop everyone plans. Berths and buoy fields fill early in peak weeks.
Which base for which week
Choose Ibiza Town for most bareboat and skippered weeks. Choose San Antonio if your operator bases there and you want the west coast first. Treat Formentera as a day sail or overnight stop, not the default check-in harbour.
Provisioning, fuel and check-in
Fuel, water and supermarket runs are easiest around Ibiza Town. Marina nights in high season are scarce and expensive. Plan calas as the default and treat town marinas as fuel, water and Saturday logistics. Nearest airport: Ibiza (IBZ).

FAQs
Which Ibiza marina should I depart from?
Most bareboat and skippered weeks start around Ibiza Town because the fleets and airport transfers concentrate there.
Do I need to book marina berths in advance?
In July and August, yes for popular harbours and Saturday changeovers. Formentera buoy fields should be reserved early in peak weeks.
Is Formentera a charter base?
It is the classic short hop and overnight stop, not the usual Saturday check-in harbour for large bareboat fleets.
Can I start in Ibiza and finish in Mallorca?
One-way weeks are possible with some operators but rarer and usually dearer. Confirm drop-off rules before you lock the route.
Are Ibiza marinas noisy at night?
Town basins can be lively in peak season. Many crews provision in town, then spend nights in quieter calas.
