Mallorca charter base directory
Palma (Club de Mar / Real Club Náutico area)
Primary charter logistics hub next to the city and airport transfers. Largest bareboat and catamaran fleets on the island.
Port d'Alcúdia
North-east start for the bay and quieter first nights. Good when you want to avoid a long day-one motor from Palma.
Port de Pollença
Sheltered harbour with a short hop toward Formentor. Popular for north-coast weeks.
Which base for which week
Choose Palma if transfers and provisioning matter most. Choose Alcúdia or Pollença for a north-coast week without motoring the length of the island on day one.
Provisioning, fuel and check-in
Fuel, water and supermarket runs are easiest in Palma. Cala nights are the cheaper default once you leave the capital. Tramuntana days can put swell into west-coast approaches. Nearest airport for most crews: Palma (PMI).

FAQs
Which Mallorca marina should I depart from?
Most bareboat and skippered weeks start in Palma Bay because the airport is close and the fleets are largest. North-coast bases suit weeks that stay around Alcúdia and Pollença.
Do I need to book marina berths in advance?
In July and August, yes for popular harbours and for Saturday changeovers. Shoulder season is more flexible, especially mid-week.
Is Palma expensive for overnight berths?
City marinas cost more than town quays and calas. Many crews provision in Palma, then spend the week on the hook or in smaller harbours.
Can I start in Palma and finish in Ibiza?
One-way weeks are possible but rarer and usually dearer. Confirm the operator allows the drop-off before you plan the route.
What about Majorca spelling in search?
Majorca and Mallorca are the same island. This page covers both phrasings; the charter fleets and marinas are identical.
