Palma, Balearic Islands: 7-day Mallorca sailing itinerary via Andratx, Sóller, Formentor, the East Coast and Cabrera
Discover Mallorca by sea on a well-paced, one-week itinerary that starts and ends in Palma. Cruise the Tramuntana coast to Port d’Andratx and Port de Sóller, round the dramatic cliffs of Cap de Formentor, wander the coves of the east coast, and finish with a night on a park mooring in the pristine Cabrera Archipelago before returning to Palma. Daily runs are manageable, with sheltered options in most wind directions and plenty of swim stops in clear water. Highlights include Palma’s Gothic cathedral, Sóller’s historic tram, Formentor’s lighthouse cliffs, the Coves del Drach near Porto Cristo, the calas around Cala d’Or, and Cabrera’s Blue Grotto. Plan ahead for summer berth demand and Cabrera permits, protect Posidonia seagrass by using authorized buoys, and check local forecasts daily for Tramuntana accelerations and afternoon sea breezes.
